Publisher for Confluence Cloud to Salesforce

Helping to avoid context switching between two different environments.

DESCRIPTION It's an Atlassian context app that allows your documentation created or hosted in Confluence Cloud to be published to Salesforce easily and quickly, without context switching. ATLASSIAN ENVIRONMENT

The entire app design had to adhere to the Atlassian design system framework. Decisions had to be made to align with the system's guidelines, but there was also room to propose new features and solutions.

About the app

HOW IT ALL STARTED The application fulfilled its essential function: publishing from Confluence to Salesforce seamlessly. After speaking with customers and listening to their needs, we worked on improving its features. We added the ability to publish in bulk from Confluence, added an identifier for the publication status of articles, improved the connection screen, and added the possibility to publish in draft, among other things. THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE Being able to improve the design only from the Confluence side, and not being able to modify the Salesforce side, was a huge challenge. We wanted to guide the user experience from beginning to end, but we had to do our best from our own end. RESULTS It is an intuitive and easy-to-use application that makes it easy for users to publish articles.
